Mr. Suleyman Uyar was born on February 10,1953 in Akdagmadeni. He completed his primary and secondary education in Istanbul and joined the world of business at an early age.
Mr. Uyar, a successful businessman, founded Akdag Makine Ticaret ve Sanayi A.S, Transanka Makine ve Elektrik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S and Transova Elektron Aletleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. which form the core of today’s Uyar Group of Companies.
He was also the Co- Founder of Permak Makine Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. and Aksa Jenarator Sanayi A.S. both of which are still operating successfully in their respective industries. In addition to being a successful businessman, Mr. Uyar was a founding member and supporter of many non- profit organizations working for public interest.

Mr. Suleyman Uyar, Founder of our Group, married and the father of a daughter and a son, passed away at an early age on January 19,1991 due to a malignant illness. He will always remain in our memories...
